Scope of unemployment insurance scheme extended

Employees working in free zones (other than DIFC and ADGM) and semi-government entities, who were previously exempt, are now required to register for the mandatory insurance scheme until 30.06.2023 or within four months from their employment commencement date if hired after 28.02.2023.
