Amendments to UAE Labour Law issued

Fines of no less than AED 100,000 and no more than AED 1 million will be imposed on any employer who, for example, employs workers without a proper permit, fails to provide them with a job or misuses work permits. Additionally, the new law introduces criminal penalties for fictitious recruitment, including fictitious Emiratisation.
