Get rid of cash? Not so easy!
Dubai is known as a city where you can quickly spend your money. Every small shop and department store is delighted to receive cash although card payment is clearly preferred and much more common. However, when it comes to cash deposits at the bank, things suddenly get complicated in this ultra-modern country. Cash deposits can only be made at certain ATMs, but not every ATM accepts small notes, not to mention coins. If we have an odd amount that needs to be paid into our company account, that is where my adventure begins...
