UAE's first tram put into operation

The Dubai Tram stretches over a tramway network of 10.6 km and connects the areas of Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai Marina and Al Sufouh. It also provides access to the Dubai Metro and the Palm Jumeirah Monorail.
