UAE sets new goal for Emiratisation

The strategy for the years 2027 to 2030 targets insurance companies. It mandates, among others, the employment of at least one Emirati in companies with 2 to 19 employees as well as a 30% localisation rate in companies with 20 or more employees. In addition, 30% of top executive positions, such as CEOs or General Managers, shall be held by Emiratis.
