UAE labour force increases while unemployment rate drops

According to the 2024 Labour Force Survey conducted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC), 9.2 million people were employed, with 7.5 million males and 1.7 million females. The unemployment rate declined from 2.1% to 1.9% compared to 2023, whereas the global average stands at 4.9%.
