Strict regulations for telemarketing

With effect from mid-August 2024, the Ministry of Economy (MoE) and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) will introduce new rules with strict penalties of up to AED 150,000 for violations. For example, marketing calls will only be permitted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
