UAE adopts largest legislative reform in its history

The bundle of more than 40 laws aims at strengthening economic, investment and trade opportunities as well as maximising social stability, security and the rights of individuals and institutions. The laws cover, inter alia, a better protection of women and domestic workers, the decriminalisation of non-marital relationships and the recognition of children born out of wedlock. Other laws elaborate on digital signatures, factoring and commercial companies.
