Tourists can claim VAT refund at self-service kiosks

Visitors can complete the process by submitting the tax invoices marked with tax-free stickers issued by registered retail outlets and scanning their passport and boarding pass showing that they will be leaving the UAE within the next 24 hours. Apart from air, land and sea exit ports, self-service kiosks are located in major shopping malls and hotels across the UAE.
