The new corridor will feature 12 lanes in both directions and reduce journey times by up to 60%. The first of two phases will extend from Al Shanouf Road in Sharjah to Dubai-Al Ain Road in Dubai, while the second phase will run until Al Faya Road in Abu Dhabi. The project will also connect with Al Maktoum International Airport and Etihad Rail.
