Phases for implementation of eInvoicing published

The new billing system will impact businesses of all sizes as well as government entities. Business-to-consumer transactions are currently excluded. Businesses with a revenue of AED 50 million or more have to appoint an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) by 31.07.2026 and implement eInvoicing by 01.01.2027. Companies with a revenue of less than AED 50 million are required to appoint an ASP by 31.03.2027 and implement eInvoicing by 01.07.2027. Government entities must appoint an ASP by 31.03.2027 and implement eInvoicing by 01.10.2027.
