No overstay fines due to airspace closure

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) will not impose penalties for late departures. This applies to persons affected by the current exceptional circumstances in the region, such as tourists as well as residents who had cancelled their residence visas in preparation for their departure. The exemption applies to fines which would have otherwise incurred on or after 28.02.2026.
