New salary deadline for private sector companies

As of 01.06.2026, employers registered with the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MoHRE) must pay their employees' salaries through the Wage Protection System (WPS) on the first day of each month for the previous month at the latest. Any payment made after the due date will be considered delayed and result in penalties.
