New law for veterinary medicine profession

Federal Law No. 8 of 2017 amends certain provisions of Federal Law No. 10 of 2002 and stipulates that professionals in the UAE must get a license from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE). The move aims at regulating veterinary medicine and support services as well as enhancing and safeguarding the health of livestock and other animals in the country.
