Jurisdiction of DIFC Courts expanded

Dubai Law No. 5 of 2017 is partially amending Dubai Law No. 12 of 2004 on the Judicial Authority of the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts (DIFC Courts). In addition to civil and commercial claims, the jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts now also includes labour claims and actions arising out of labour contracts signed between DIFC companies and establishments and their employees.
