Jaywan card on the rise

The country’s national card scheme was launched in July 2026 and is operated by Al Etihad Payments, a subsidiary of the UAE Central Bank. Jaywan is currently accepted at more than 200 Majid Al Futtaim locations across the UAE, including retail, leisure, hospitality and entertainment sectors, as well as by Etihad Airways for flight bookings.
