Introduction of VAT and corporate tax in the UAE

Relevant laws are currently being drafted and expected to be finished within the third quarter of this year. Value-added tax (VAT) will most likely not only be implemented in the UAE, but also across the whole area of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
