Formal approval needed for rent re-evaluation

Since 01.04.2024, landlords in Dubai are required to obtain a judgment or legal order before they can apply for a rent evaluation with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) if they believe they are entitled to a higher rent than the one reflected in the rental increase calculator.
