Dubai Wholesale City to be set up

The project is planned as a fully-integrated trading hub that aims to meet the needs of local and international wholesale trading sectors like food, electronics, building materials and textile. It will be located close to Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port. The initiative is part of the diversification of the national economy away from a dependence on oil.
