Drilling of Route 2020 tunnel launched

The tunnel is part of the new Dubai metro line Route 2020 which extends the Red Line 15 km from Nakheel Harbour and Tower Station to the Expo 2020 site. The tunnel starts at Discovery Gardens and stretches 3.2 km up to The Green Community. All tunnel drilling works will be completed in December 2018.
