Digital bank account for tourists

The "Tourist Identity" initiative enables visitors to open a bank account digitally within minutes upon arrival by using biometrics and facial recognition. The new service is a partnership between the UAE Central Bank (CBUAE), the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) and the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB).
