Crowdfunding expected to boost economy

The UAE government has approved the use of crowdfunding in both the public and private sector to finance new projects and encourage entrepreneurship and innovation. This will be done via the new UAE System for Crowdfunding Platform Operators, regulated by the Securities and Commodities Authority.
