Cabinet approves new residence visa scheme for retirees

To be eligible for residency, retirees need to be at least 55 years old and have to fulfil certain requirements concerning the ownership of a property, a bank deposit or an annual income. What was first announced in September 2018 and put in place two years later in Dubai with the initiative "Retire in Dubai", now seems to be applicable to a wider area within the UAE.
