3-year residence visas no longer issued

According to several free zone authorities, residence visas with a validity of three years for new visas, visa renewals and visa transfers will no longer be available across the UAE. Instead, residence visas will only be issued for one year or two years. The new regulation is likely to apply for residence visas based on employment.
