3% municipality fee to be paid by expatriate tenants in Abu Dhabi

The new fee will be based on the value of the annual rent and collected in monthly installments by the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). UAE nationals, who rent property, will be exempted.
