New regulations for timesharing in Dubai

Dubai Law No. 14 of 2020 mandates the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) to oversee all activities in the Emirate's timeshare industry. Amongst other responsibilities, Dubai Tourism will develop rules and technical standards for timeshare facilities, including permits and approvals as well as a classification system for residential units being subject to the new law.
